The Association of Football Badge Collectors Members' Wants Lists
Listings on this page are available to AFBC members only, but of course anyone can reply.
Contact the Webmaster with your
football badge wants list. I am only able to accept wanted adverts, not for sale adverts. Please
state what personal details you want including with your wants list. On 18 March 2012 all adverts from lapsed members, and adverts
still referencing the old 2000 AFBC badge directory, were removed. All adverts must now reference the 2009 directory.

Wants an Aston Villa badge designed like a wheel with spokes radiating out from the middle. About 30-35mm diameter.
It has a brooch fitting. There is a lion in the centre, and a scroll across the middle with Aston Villa C.C. on it, Aston
Villa Cycling Club. There was a cycling club of this name at Villa Park around 1895 and there was a cycle track round the
football pitch. It is spoken about in the book "The First Hundred Years of Aston Villa" sold at Villla Park in 1975. They
used to hold international cycling events regularly. Dave already has a solid silver attendance medal in the same design as
the badge described. The scroll and lion are enamel with the same wording. He will will pay top dollar for this item.
He also collects all older club and SC badges from the English & Scottish leagues.
Prepared to swop any of these for the right Aston Villa badge. His badges (almost 2,000 in collection) and the medal
mentioned above, are displayed on a web site
